Just wanted to update with some news! I (Megan) just got a part time virtual assisting job for a real estate agent that allows me to work from home! It took some computer investment, but once I pay that off in a couple months, we will be able to add that to adoption support money! Praise God for the way that He provides for us in so many unique ways! Not to mention, I was praying for a job that would allow me to work a couple hours a day from home, but to keep our children the priority!
Another update in regards to paperwork for the adoption--we just received the next big packet called the "dossier packet" that we have to put together for the adoption agency and the Ethiopian agency! It is a bit overwhelming, but is starting to feel more and more real as we begin the LONG process of gathering things and filling things out!!
We can't wait to find out who our precious child will be!! Stay tuned…
As of now, here is a list of dates you can be praying about for us:
- June 28th- Our Home study will take place. Our social worker will spend the day at our home to interview us
- June 21 and 22- We will have a garage sale at our new place to raise money for the adoption
- In July, although not set yet, we will have a couple desserts to share about the needs for our adoption
- Sometime in August or early September, we will get our paperwork in and patiently wait for a referral of our child or children.
